Kolkata: There seems to be no let-up in violence in West Bengal. Incidents of violence have been reported frequently after the West Bengal election results came out. Notably, the violence peaked on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. Chandranath Rath, the personal assistant of BJP's chief ministerial candidate Suvendu Adhikari, was shot dead in Bengal. The attack was followed by another incident. BJP workers were attacked with bombs by unidentified assailants. 5 BJP workers were injured in the attack. Five people have been reported injured in the incident so far.
