Xi Jinping Warns Putin Against Unilateral Action in Middle East Amid Tensions

Xi Jinping's warning to Putin: China and Russia signed 20 important agreements in Beijing during the Middle East crisis. Beijing: Political activity in China has intensified amid US-Israeli military tensions with Iran in West Asia. After Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin has now visited China. On Wednesday, an important meeting was held between Russian President Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. During this, there was a discussion on further strengthening bilateral relations and 20 agreements were signed between the two countries. According to a Chinese media report, Jinping called for an immediate halt to the ongoing war in the Middle East. President Xi Jinping warned that unilateral military action and protracted war could push the global community to a difficult period where international rules are weakened. In such a situation, a ceasefire is absolutely necessary. The Chinese President further added that we are ready to work together (with Russia) to build a more logical, more just system of global governance and global prosperity.
