The Yogi government has taken a big decision regarding the dream project of Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the Jayprakash Narayan International Center (JPNIC). The cabinet has approved the proposal to give the operation of JPNIC in Gomtinagar, Lucknow to private hands. The government has approved to give the center on a 30-year lease to Vrindavan Bottlers Private Limited and Rockwood Hotel and Resort Private Limited. Although it was agreed to give it to private hands earlier, the institution was not selected. The government handed it over to private hands on the condition that it is as it is. There has been no response from the Samajwadi Party or Akhilesh Yadav. Now the operation of JPNIC will be in the hands of these private companies. The repair, maintenance and necessary work of the center will also be the responsibility of the concerned private organization. That is, the Lucknow Development Authority will not have to run the entire operation of this big complex, which has been closed for a long time. It was still the responsibility of the JPIC Authority. The construction cost of the IDNI started in 2013, while the cost of the IDNI started in 2014.
